Devon Raised, kitchen made

At Harry’s, sourcing locally isn’t just a preference, it’s a priority. Wherever possible, we choose ingredients from nearby farms, producers, and suppliers, including locally reared meats and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Our commitment to quality means we rely on plentiful, exceptional ingredients. Over the years, we’ve built strong, meaningful relationships with outstanding suppliers, ensuring that every dish we serve reflects the best of what our region has to offer.

Darts farm

When it comes to meat, we take the ‘farm to fork’ approach – the old fashioned way, the best way. That’s why we buy our meat from farmer heroes, The Butchers at Darts Farm, expertly led by Master Butchers Philip & Alastair David. Their knowledge and expertise of breeding, rearing, sourcing, maturing and butchering the best livestock enables us to provide you with the highest quality, and tastiest meat. It all started with Ronald Dart, back in 1971, when he created ‘Pic Fresh’. He believed that we should eat what is in season, and produced locally. What started as a hut selling produce from their fields, grew into a popular farm shop, and into the shopping destination you know today.

Wright bros

When it comes to seafood, we embrace a ‘shore to door’ approach to ensure that only sustainably sourced seafood makes it to your plate. That’s why we partner with Wright Bros Ltd, based in Brixham, who share our commitment to providing fresh fish with minimal environmental impact. Led by experts Ben and Robin, their extensive knowledge of the fishing industry guarantees a high-quality catch every time. From signature starters like Dusted Calamari with Sweet Chilli Sauce to mains such as Herb-Crusted Hake, Wright Bros has us covered with top-notch seafood. When you’re craving locally sourced seafood, you can’t go wrong with Wright Bros.

Christopher piper wines

Independent Wine Company, Christopher Piper Wines was established back in 1979 by Chairman Chris Piper after working in Beaujolais, as a wine-maker in Brouilly. Not only do they supply top quality wine to South West hotels, pubs and restaurants (including us!), they have a beautiful shop in Ottery St. Mary, and an online shop selling beers, wines and spirits.

Devon Crab

Situated close to the Torbay coastline in the seaside town of Paignton, Devon Crab is some of the finest in the world. Every day, come rain or shine, fishing boats deliver their sustainable catch to be lovingly prepared, ensuring only the very finest crab arrives with us, straight from the Devon sea. We don’t mean to brag, but our Devon Crab Linguine with chilli, lime, ginger, cherry toms and white wine is one of our most sought after dishes!

Goosemoor

Goosemoor Foodservice works closely with a diverse network of local and specialist food producers to bring premium quality products to chefs, retailers and caterers throughout the South West. They prioritise strong relationships with growers, farms and artisan producers, ensuring British and seasonal produce wherever possible. From meat and dairy to baked goods and fresh produce, Goosemoor’s supplier partnerships help deliver exceptional ingredients for every kitchen need.

Boatyard Bakery

Situated on Exeter’s Quayside, the exceptional Boatyard Bakers are passionate about crafting ‘real’ bread using traditional methods and simple, quality ingredients. In addition to their wide variety of artisanal breads, they create delectable cakes, scones, brioche burger buns (you might recognise these from our famous Harry’s burger), and an array of pastries. Many of these treats are served daily in their cosy café, where you can enjoy them alongside fresh, locally sourced coffee and a selection of other hot and cold drinks.
